1. Scope

These Terms apply to access to Beameez websites, the Box Generator and other Beameez tools, and any digital products or paid services offered through Beameez. Additional product specific terms shown before purchase form part of the contract.

2. Operator and contact

Beameez is operated by Julien Rigole, 84 route de Bordeaux, 33550 Lestiac-sur-Garonne, France. Contact: contact@beameez.com. Full business identification appears in the Legal Notice.

3. Access to tools and service availability

Beameez may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, hosting incidents, or technical changes. Beameez does not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for the dimensions, material settings, kerf values, machine settings, exported files, and manufacturing decisions used in your projects. Always inspect the generated file and perform appropriate tests before production. Laser cutting involves equipment, heat, fumes, materials, and fire risks. Follow the safety requirements of your machine and materials.

5. Generated files

Files generated by Beameez tools are provided under the Beameez License. The licence explains permitted personal and commercial use, use by manufacturing contractors, and restrictions on redistributing digital files or copying Beameez software and assets.

6. Digital products

Where Beameez sells downloadable files or other digital content, the product description identifies what is supplied and any specific licence conditions. Access may be delivered immediately after successful payment.

7. Prices and payment

Prices, currency, applicable taxes, and the total amount due are shown before payment. Payments may be processed by WooPayments, Stripe, or another provider displayed at checkout. Beameez does not intentionally store full payment card details.

8. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Consumers generally benefit from a statutory withdrawal period for distance contracts. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost only when the legal conditions for immediate performance are met, including the consumer’s prior express consent to immediate supply, express acknowledgement of the loss of the withdrawal right, and the required confirmation.

If those conditions are not met, nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory withdrawal right. This also means that a blanket “no refunds” statement does not override rights granted by applicable consumer law.

If a digital file is corrupted, inaccessible, or materially different from what was ordered, contact Beameez so that the issue can be corrected. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Paid plans and recurring services

If Beameez offers a paid subscription or recurring service, the price, billing period, renewal rules, cancellation method, and any minimum commitment will be shown before the order is placed. Any mandatory online cancellation function required by applicable law will be made available when such subscriptions are offered.

10. Intellectual property

The Beameez name, branding, website, software, interface, source code, documentation, graphics, and pre-designed assets remain protected by the rights applicable to their respective owners. Access to the service does not transfer ownership of Beameez software or branding.

11. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, use the service unlawfully, attempt to compromise its security, or copy and redistribute protected Beameez software or assets outside the permissions of the applicable licence.

12. Liability

Beameez is responsible to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Beameez is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect dimensions or settings supplied by the user, unsuitable materials, machine calibration, unsafe manufacturing, or modifications made after export.

13. Consumer guarantees

Mandatory legal guarantees and conformity rights applicable to digital content and digital services remain in force and are not reduced by these Terms.

14. Complaints and mediation

For a complaint, first contact contact@beameez.com. Consumers may also use the consumer mediation procedure applicable to Beameez once the required prior complaint process has been followed.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence where those protections cannot be excluded by contract.

16. Changes

Beameez may update these Terms to reflect service, business, or legal changes. The version applicable to an order is the version made available when the order is placed, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
